Step 1 for this King Arthur Pizza Dough Recipe Best Pizza Dough Recipe

Use a food processor to add your flour, yeast, and salt together. Press “on” to combine the dry ingredients for about 5 seconds.

Why Use King Arthur Flour?

This amazing recipe is truly a delightful treat! Not only does it use 100% whole wheat flour, but the texture and taste of this homemade pizza dough will astound you! The whole wheat white flour is milled in such a way that it results in fluffy and light baked goods that don’t lose any of their inherent fiber content.

For a light and fluffy, yet still hearty 100% whole wheat pizza crust, King Arthur’s White Whole Wheat Flour is the perfect choice. This flour will give your homemade pizza a texture more similar to a flatbread than to a deep dish. It’s the perfect balance between flavor and texture!

You can find this flour at some local grocery stores including Meijer and Whole Foods. It is a bit pricier than regular white flour or regular wheat flour. If you are looking for a whole wheat option but would like to save a bit of money, try the pastry whole wheat flour at Whole Foods.

Or, you can try Bob’s Red Mill Whole Wheat Flour which is available at some grocery stores, like Kroger or Whole Foods when the King Arthur is not.

It might be a whole competition for shelf space thing or something. So, these are three great options if you’re looking for whole wheat flour that is good for a thin crust pizza dough recipe!
