Ham, Green Pepper, & Onion Pizza on the Grill
With thinly sliced deli ham that slightly flakes over the grill, homemade pizza sauce, and fresh onion and green pepper, this pizza is both healthy and delicious.

Pizza Dough
- 2 cups whole wheat white flour King Arthur's
- 1/2 cup white flour
- 1 tsp Mediterranean sea salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 cup hot water not boiling from tap is fine
Pizza Sauce
- 6 oz canned tomato paste
- 15 oz canned tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp raw honey
Pizza Toppings
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 large green pepper diced into small bits
- 1 medium Spanish onion diced into small bits
- 6 oz deli ham thinly sliced
Combine in a food processor the following ingredients. Allow time to rise. This is important! Make the Sauce
In a medium sized bowl, combine all the ingredients.
6 oz canned tomato paste, 15 oz canned tomato sauce, 2 tbsp dried oregano, 2 tbsp dried Italian seasoning , 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, 1 tsp raw honey
Stir with a large spoon until well combined.
Make the Pizza
Preheat your grill to medium high.
Place your pizza stone on the grill.
Tear a large piece of parchment paper and place it on your wood pizza peel.
Roll out the dough to make a thin pizza crust.
Place the crust on the parchment paper on top of the wooden pizza peel.
Spread your homemade pizza sauce over the pizza crust.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.

Then, add the green pepper diced into small bits over top the cheese.

Next, spread the diced Spanish onion.

Finally, add the deli ham in little clumps.

Once the grill is preheated (if you have a temperature gauge it should be at least 500 degrees), slide the pizza with parchment paper onto the pizza stone on the grill.
Grill for 6-8 minutes depending on how hot your grill can get. Watch closely and check frequently! It will cook quickly!
