Five Steps to Create Smoky Salsa

This recipe for smoky salsa is SUPER EASY and is literally the best ever. Throw the ingredients into your food processor, press on, and serve!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can diced tomatoes drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 large jalapeño deseeded, washed, and roughly chopped 
  • 4 cloves garlic roughly chopped 
  • 2 large handfuls cilantro with stems broken off, about 2 cups
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • 2 small limes juice of
  • Mediterranean sea salt to taste
  • ground pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup olive oil  extra virgin

Instructions
 

Make the Smoky Salsa

  • In a food processor, with the serrated blade attached, add diced tomatoes.
    1 can diced tomatoes, 1 can diced tomatoes
  • Add jalapeño, garlic cloves, cilantro, apple cider vinegar, honey, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Add olive oil.
    1 large jalapeño, 4 cloves garlic, 2 large handfuls cilantro, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp raw honey, 2 small limes, Mediterranean sea salt, ground pepper, 1/2 cup olive oil 
  • Press on and let the food processor blend for about 15 to 30 seconds.  Serve with chips, or as a topping for your favorite tacos or fajitas! Enjoy!

Notes

For spicy smoky salsa, add 3 tsp of crushed red pepper and plenty of salt to taste!
